the thing that is always "interesting" as a psychic (at least the way I DO IT)

is the emotion is what I pick up . . . and then the second piece is what may be LEADING to the emotion

which is how I do economic predictions . . . I get a sense of how the collective "reacts" and then reverse engineer what is likely causing it

this is why SIMPLE (which aren't) "yes/no questions" are not my thing hahahahaha

however . . . collective emotions "leave an imprint"

the more emotion, the easier for me to read

. . . the hardest clients for me, therefore, are ones who are "super rational" and try to "suppress" their emotions

and the easiest for me, then, are people who are creative, passionate people because there is a more direct causal link to what happens and how they "feel" about it

but on large scale events, the "collective reaction" is always the driver for my predictions

earthquakes and emotional upheaval both cause quick, deep emotional reactions

and that is the "thing" that registers on my "psychic brain"

At the beginning of 2013, I said the stock market would take off and hit 16,000 -- an "impossible" number since, in January, 2013, it was around 13,400

it did, in fact, surpass 16,000 before year's end

in January of this year, when it was around 16,450, I said "if I had stocks, I think I would sell them right now"

later the Dow went up over 17,000 but, right now, 7 months after my prediction

the Dow stands at 16,141 and, earlier today, it went below 16,000

I may not be all that in everything but, for whatever reason, when it comes to "economic predictions"

I continue, year after year after year, to do pretty well

out of nowhere this morning, the poet Zinaida Gippius popped in my head -- why (and how) I can't really say

strange . . . an obscure Russian poet of early 20th Century Russia -- out of nowhere I start thinking of HER

on Wikipedia, I then started reading a passage (because it "lit up to me") she wrote about the Russian Revolution

I then went about my day . . . a couple of hours later, I (suddenly) started thinking of Rasputin . . . (the Russian holy man + mystic with such a profound infuence on the last Russian czar and czarina)

and I decided -- I want to see if there are any videos and this video (as they somehow often do) ALSO "lit up" for me

while watching this video, about 35 minutes into it, what do I hear ??

anyway, I was (no doubt) "supposed" to watch this . . . because, the places in the video . . . the palaces, Rasputin's apartment, the sights of St. Petersburg

they are all, somehow, "familiar to me"

yes, what can I say?

a typical day in the Psychic Neighborhood :)

I had to "step away" from many of the traditional books of Wisdom -- as I had to find my way without rules

since I had no solid structure to understand the limits of one's interpretation and, without that foundation within myself

I would be subject to the power of the individual speaking and not wise enough to understand the "truth" as a personal revelation

I would be accepting truth -- not DISCOVERING TRUTH

I feel I am in a place now in which my powers of discernment are fairly attuned -- like the sages of long ago

and to them, again, I turn . . . so I pore over the old books once more: The Torah, the Zohar

with new eyes -- the 2nd level of understanding

I have new eyes, too . . . ones that are, as much as possible based on my "path", wide open

and, as such, I can more easily absorb what is old since I am seeing from a space of integration, not one of hunger

I am full now so I can taste the food, let it sit on my tongue for a bit

the old and the new can come together as a feast, not as a compensation -- the ouroboros chases its tail

but the tail is already within the one who is chasing

people try to rush ahead . . . but spiritual understanding is a process of unfoldment

it is not a flash of lightning . . . it is a steady rain, soft upon your head

a long process but what is old is always new and the old man finds the place in which he is once again like a child

what moves me I also move . . . the rose blooms
