people want to connect with people "of value"

whether this be an employer or a potential romantic partner

and no one will ever know if you provide "value" or not

unless you first BELIEVE it yourself

the secret to getting corporate jobs, the secret to "picking up" girls

without this core belief, nothing goes your way

a painful truth -- but a truth nonetheless

I am a "psychic" but I have noticed that, for whatever reason, over the last few weeks during my sessions, I have talked a LOT about SEX

it is obviously a big issue for people, (and this is not just something that has shown up in the past 3 weeks !!)

problems/frustrations in the bedroom have such a huge impact on self-esteem and lead to a host of OTHER issues

evidently (and thankfully) people must feel comfortable talking with me about this and I honor these conversations

it is time, I believe, to look more closely at how sexuality and self-esteem tie together

in helping someone get in touch with their sexual "core", you also help them re-awaken a greater sense of who they ARE

as I mentioned yesterday, I am creating (already have a host for the site) a website called "Karma Sex Astrology" and will be talking, more openly, about the integration of sexuality, spirituality, and self-esteem/self-love

you cannot love anyone else until you first love yourself

because, until that happens, you will be looking for them to PROVE to you that you DESERVE to be loved

this is a recipe for disaster; love is not something you find

it is something with which you ALIGN

be love FIRST . . . the rest will follow, soon enough

Almost all romantic "issues" stem from "expectations"

when you are spontaneous, playful . . . sharing space

then typically all is good 

when the "idea" of what should BE rears its ugly head; we've been dating six months, we need to be X

Bobby and Sally have sex 4 times a day why can't/don't we !! . . . I don't care what your mother thinks -- I am not 

etc etc etc

rules, usually adopted willy nilly from someone else who wasn't happy either . . . are the end

I have been guilty of this, of course, many times; I have wanted guarantees, wanted a certain "response" even after I may have stopped DOING the very thing that ONCE elicited the response I wanted BACK

so, here's the truth:

BE -- stop expecting

you may miss how you felt when you were with them -- but that doesn't mean you miss them

there is a difference . . . and it is an important difference

Soul Mates show up to help us change

sometimes that is with a soft touch; sometimes it's a hammer

but the feeling is what you miss . . . and the feeling

can be replaced

you cannot find yourself

by listening to someone's "opinion"

or taking a poll . . . it only comes

by listening to yourself, being quiet, tuning out (as much as possible)

and the woulda, shoulda's

no one can define you -- that is the greatest problem of most people

they believe others will tell them who they are and what to do

it ultimately is a recognition of the stripped-down you, within

all that matters

If you want to see what "style" of sexuality you "bring" with you from your "past lives"

look first to Mars . . . followed by (in order) Pluto, Juno, and the Sun

The Moon shows where (and how) we want to be approached; the Sun shows how we are likely to move forward

but, male or female, MARS is the planet (both sign and house placement) that is the strongest indicator of your karmic "tendencies" in regards to both sexual expression AND sexual desire

sexual dysfunction (at least as it may be "brought forward" from the "past") will show up with afflictions to either Pluto, Juno, or (sometimes) Neptune from an angular planet (something near the 1st, 4th, 7th or 10th House cusps)

or multiple "afflictions" to planets near the Descendant (either 6th or 7th House) or in the 12th House

from either Pluto or Juno in addition to ANOTHER personal planet (Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, or Mars) 

Sexuality is one of the truest "expressions" of your past life energy; there is a style (and expectation) that you bring with you

and Mars whispers in your ear how you like it -- and Pluto shows what you're willing to do to "get it" as well as where you may hide when trying (successfully OR unsuccessfully) to "express it"

Karmic Astrology is a blueprint to the soul's evolution

and sexuality (believe it or not) is one of the truest barometers of that evolution

Soul mates aren't all love and candlelight, they may show up rock your world and move on

or they may stay . . . and torment you a while longer 

not every soul mate is a romance nor is every soul mate who shows up as a romantic partner always an "easy" experience

but they serve a purpose -- and that "purpose" is to "change" the emotional and logistical trajectory or your "current path"

and what is, to me, the most fool proof way to "identify" who's a "soul mate" and who is just passin' through ??

ASTROLOGY

For the astrologers in the family (and on my FB Friends list, that means about 800 of you !!)

one of the far too often "neglected" points of the chart when looking at the BIG "why"

is the I.C. -- Immum Coeli, the 4th House Cusp

this is a very important point in "karmic astrology" and is related, quite dramatically, to karmic patterns

people with planets closely conjuncting the I.C. on the 4th House side (use a 2-3 degree orb only) will often have a certain unconscious "fixation" in how they "deal"

the MC at the top gets most of the attention, but people who have planets prominently parked in the 4th House right on the IC (as I do: Retrograde Pluto in Leo less than a degree away from an exact conjunction)

often have both a "driven" and somewhat "Fated" quality to their lives

people with planets in the 12th closely conjuncting the Ascendant also have a strong unconscious driver in their psyche, due to "past life" influences, although with 12th House placements, these are often more "unconscious" and related to some type of psychological trauma

as a result, these are often individuals who are attempting to "compensate" for a wound, typically inflicted in early childhood

with the IC, it is different; these are individuals who start off in the Underworld . . . the worlds, above and below, "blend"

it is fascinating, too, how many of the most significant romantic relationships in my life have also had a strong conjunction from the 4th House on the IC

Astrology tells all; it just whispers

one day you will wake up and realize pleasing the neighbors and watering your 401K did nothing for you

you will realize that the only thing you take with you are memories of love

not achievement, not compliance, not the size of your house or bank account

nights wrapped in someone's arms or the smiles of your children

this is what you take with you; nothing else

if true, then any path that does not make love a priority is a waste of time

nothing matters more than love period end of story

it is why people reincarnate; to feel love -- in the human body

all other pursuits are charades; love is what counts

nothing else

I said last week that I expected a MAJOR earthquake to strike within 7-10 days. First there was the series of quakes in LA but the BIG one did hit, an 8.2 in Chile less than 48 hours ago

However, after this quake, I said this:

"my prayers are for the beautiful people of Chile

personally, I still expect more within the next week or so . . . the Earth is out of balance and will try to self-correct -- again"

Today, in Chile, two more major quakes: a 6.5 followed by a 7.6
