which direction do I swipe

trying to find a "who was I in my past life" match is kind of, emotionally, like trying to find a partner on match.com (or whatever the modern swipe left swipe right version is called)

everyone at first is "the one" and then you look at them for a while and are not so sure and then maybe your initial enthusiasm wanes and you're over it

same for me and "past lives" . . . every possible "this is it" is exciting . . . you kiss some frogs perhaps you find your prince -- it is no different for me with all my photo overlays and astrology charts; I am trying to find my "soul mate" . . . and when you think maybe this is it, no matter how many times you may have been disappointed in the past

when you stumble on to a new photo and new profile, it is easy for you to get hopeful and start to think "maybe this one's it"

it is a pretty overwhelming (and good) feeling

and yes, I get it that everyone would be happier if I was "psychic enough" to just automatically know

but, I don't and, far as I can see, no one else has ever been able to do this automatically either
