What lies within the madness

I was a psychic "prodigy" early on . . . a clairvoyant wunderkind, telekinetic -- able to, literally, look at things and watch them slide across the table

. . . but -- I was also a mess, a hot mess

and the hot messy part took a while to clean up

it would have been nice to been less hot mess . . . but the messy parts "inspired" me to clean house

in the ways I needed most

never begrudge the madness . . . for within the mad, lies total clarity
