People ask me, quite often, what they can to to "create prosperity" in their lives?
is there a special potion, a karmic talent hidden away, some special date with destiny just waiting for them, like a golden goose with their own personalized golden egg ????
what IS IT -- and how, best, to hurry up and FIND IT !!!!!!!!!!!
but the truth is -- prosperity comes when you "provide value"
it doesn't matter what you DO; what matters is the VALUE YOU CREATE
an example -- during my brief time in the executive world of Corporate America, I provided a LOT of value to my employers and was paid quite handsomely
at Kaiser Permanente, I was billed out at $175 an hour (of which I got $140)
. . . $7,000 a week, $364,000 annualized out for the year
but that $364,000 investment by Kaiser paid off in spades because I was able to help develop processes (or isolate problem areas and help "resolve them more quickly" -- thus eliminating the lost revenue AND increased labor costs that would have accrued if the problem dragged on any longer) in a software project with an 8 BILLION DOLLAR PRICE TAG
so the $364,000 they paid for a year of my services likely saved them at least 5 Million Dollars, probably much more than that
as a psychic, however, if I am "entertaining someone" then perhaps I provide a return on investment comparable to a movie and far less than a massage or a concert . . . so the $85 investment may not be "worth it"
if, on the other hand, my advice "helps the client" make choices in their lives or find a job or eliminate 5 years of therapy, then the $85 is likely money well spent
. . . ultimately, to increase your prosperity, you have to increase the amount of value you provide to others
and the best way to do that ??
increase the value of your primary product -- YOURSELF
always think in terms of what you can do to help others (and how you can be a BETTER YOU) . . .and the golden egg will, eventually, end up parked in your basket
