I continue, every couple of days, to have a conversation with a woman who was sexually abused as a child or raped as a teen and/or adult . . . typically all three :(
this is beyond unacceptable . . . and to blame women for causing this (if they're 6 or 11 or 14 or whatever) is to shift reality into unrecognizable spaces
what happens to far too many women is mind-boggling . . . and we are now allowing cultural signfiers to creep back into the light of day seeking to "justify"
dominance over women
we see new "messages" somewhere every week
it has to stop; for any of us to have healthy relationships at some point . . . this madness has to stop !!!
and it can only stop if we (as men and women, together) acknowledge it has happened way too often and needs to be taken seriously
and punished seriously
from now on :(
