and -- blasphemy of blasphemies -- the United States' infrastructure (especially public works and public education) would wither on the vine and cities, counties, and even perhaps states would, literally, go bankrupt
this was considered madness by most but the collective "thought" was that I was a heretic in the "New Religion" -- thinking positively
Had people paid attention (or in 2002, when I said any war the US gets involved with will last forever and drain the Treasury) they might have taken proactive steps -- through voting or collective action to mitigate these problems
but sheep will go "baa" when they hear other "baa's" in the field
there was no way this could happen; if only I would turn my thinking around, it will all be good
but (good or bad), I don't think only for myself -- I feel the collective winds blowing and (for some reason; don't know how) I feel them before others catch on
staying in "Happy Land" is living in denial -- there are serious serious problems and no amount of "making your own reality" will do anthing, productive, to change that
it is only through a recognition of the magnitude of our problems -- and deciding those problems warrant an action in return -- that we have any hope of change
and for all those who came down on me for saying "negative things" -- here is my response: "I was right and I did it because I was trying to help"
and so . . . the wheels on the bus go round
