I have spent most of my efforts in attempting to "understand" past lives though "hunting" for individual lifetimes -- a kind of a scavenger hunt for "pre-clones" that match me in some way
not really understanding that each individual lifetime is but a finger in a glove when the truth is seen only in stepping back and looking at the full body
that full body being the soul essence who chooses to express his/her "truth" in the various lifetimes . . . the dominant essence is the story yet I've been focused on textual minutia (how many Russians with a P in their name in "War and Peace")
instead of looking at the mind of the author who chose (for whatever reason -- because there had to BE a reason) to express his/her story in this particular way, at this particular point in time
the mind of the author is "the past life story"
and even though we may understand this mindset through looking at all the novels and short stories, the best way to understand the author is to go straight to
