soul "imprints" (basically blueprints for spiritual evolution) are latent "pods of potential" waiting for each of us, lying dormant
there are ways of accessing these "pods" and (to me) the fastest, most direct route is through "akashic awareness"
meaning, past life "energy" -- not the memory of past lives but (instead) a wholistic recognition of these soul imprints (and what they've "imprinted")
I have, pretty much literally, spent 40 years traveling around the world working to "figure this out"; it can't be "mastered" in a 3 day training seminar
it is a "way of life" and to have access to "seeing it", you have to give in "to it" first
soul imprints, what are typically referred to as the akashic records (to me, a term that has lost its true meaning) exist . . . for each of us
these are things meant to be hidden (for a time) but not buried forever; however, to really benefit from this access, you have to lay the foundations for "accepting" their truths, first
