into the foundation-level elements likely to play out over the course of that specific interaction
relationships have "built in" blueprints of probablity -- and psychological and emotional base points that are (a) likely to play out in a certain way
and (b) also likely to be "lit up" by the other person, as either a "challenge" or "reward" . . . most likely, of course, a bit of both
if you know where to look, astrology has a lot to say !!
one of those places to look is the middle point mathematically between the natal placement of 2 particular planets -- literally the half-way point between them
Astrological mid-points are an important, and sort of magical, diagnostic tool, including the old, traditional "Arabic Parts", like "The Part of Fortune" or "The Part of Spirit", along with dozens of others
one of the most significant and valuable uses of mid-point analysis relates (as you might imagine) to synastry ("Relationship Astrology") and identifying "soul mate" types of connections
what is there? is there something significant or is it luke warm, a passing train in the night?
astrology can give us quite a few clues as to how far the train goes, and who gets on it !!
mid-point analysis will often give an additional layer of insight not readily available at first glance when comparing planetary intra-aspects
for example, people with planets conjuncting or opposing your Sun / Moon mid-point or Venus / Mars mid-point often "show up" in ways that suggest "past life" ties
astrology is about "intensity" and the mathematical harmonics of astrology is revealed not so much in sign "compatibility" as in the tightness of the "angles"
between planets in each person's natal chart -- the key is the closeness of the degree measures ("orbs") between the planets in one chart
when overlayed with the planets of the partner
tight mathematical harmonics between one person's natal chart and the mid-point chart of another (and vice versa) add a high-level of probability to the connection being "significant" in some way
not all relationships are significant to both parties -- but the potential "energy" waiting to be unleashed (because that is one meaningful way to think of partnerships)
is right there, looking back at you, when comparing the charts
