A brilliant, kind, generous, amazing man -- one of my dearest friends died last night :(

Gary was one of a kind, with a huge heart and an infinite capacity to give love . . . a true scholar and a very wise fellow
Now my, quite literally, two closest professional colleagues and certainly two people for whom I cared the most have died, in successive months . . . both people I LOVED and with whom I was tight tight tight
and both people, too, with whom I had plans to do significant work with in the future, Allie on radio and with Gary radio as well as something we've talked about, quite seriously, for the past year or two, television
also, both of us used R for the same reasons -- our first name is Rudolph. We talked about past lives together, had planned on vacations together, all sorts of things together, but helping my mother put a crimp in some of that . . . never put off what matters
God I will miss you :(
