it is safe to say that my "ideas" are wildly at odds with the current President and his "plans"

personally, I am ok with Trump (up to a point) but his misogynistic rich boy shctick truly rubs me the wrong way and THAT part of his demeanor has made me crazee straight from jump

I was impressed the other day when he spoke before Congress (since my expectations of his "performance" were sooooo low) and it became fairly obvious (to me) that he could actually talk and pretend to be a grown up and I am still thankful that this happened

as perhaps it mitigates the feeling in other countries that we are all gun slinging illiterates

perhaps

that being said -- it is one thing to have different ideas about governance; quite another to openly try to blow up the system you were hired to support

I talked about this attitude a LOT on air 10 years ago; the Neo-Con Grover Norquist idea of drowning the government baby in the bath tub and I paid attention to what they were saying and tried not to translate it all into what I thought they should be saying

but actually thought about what they WERE saying and what that might "mean"

every time they get close to implementing their "vision", they fuck it up and I expect this to happen once more

on top of it all, I think heads will roll

a small group of ideologues backed by a bigger group of wealthy ideologues at odds with the majority

a "conspiracy" of sorts

one I predict is about to run into a serious hiccup
