and all I can really say is that if this video about Trump is somehow a surprise or revelation then you haven't really paid much attention all along
one thing I am "good at", I think, is seeing past surfaces and understanding the emotional foundation "driving" behavior
if you have 99 blatant, neon, obvious signs about who a person "is" and it is "inconvenient to admit or acknowledge it" . . . and then suddenly something happens (totally in alignment with the 99 prior instances) and you think, "wow, who could see that coming?"
all I can say beyond "you're not particularly observant" is "hello, reality"
but this election is more reality television than political theatre
and that's the problem; we have been brought up to think Jerry Springer-type shows are the norm and that acting like rude boorish orangutans (no offense meant to orangutans, sorry)
is "appropriate behavior"
so rather than use our inside voices and look at actual issues, we (as a culture) EVIDENTLY wanted a shit show circus in which it was "acceptable" to let our anger be our guide
and throw tantrums like 2 year olds on a collective level
and that "be ok"
dignity has been thrown out the window a long long LONG time ago
I believe Trump's attitudes and behavior and certainly his rhetorical style is unacceptable behavior for any adult, period
I, personally, would be outraged if he was my next door neighbor much less the "face of my country"
a sexist, racist, egotist is what he has shown all along
because, far as I can see, that is who he is
and not only that, he has shown it loud and clear for years and years and years
if this is news, then you really need to look at why?
and if you think "well, this (and the thousand other instances just like it) doesn't matter because he 'speaks his mind' and I support him no matter what?"
then I think you really need to look at who YOU are . . . and #why
let the deleting begin
