as a psychic, this hidden language is filled with pitfalls galore and NO one who has done any significant work on television is immune from its special requirements
for Sylvia Browne, who sadly passed away earlier today, she had a lot of uncharted territory to cross and probably not a lot of places to look for how, best, to get there
so personally, I can kind of "get" what may have been happening -- also, she was "stuck" with being the lightning rod, good and bad, for all the silliness and falsehoods that attach "to" those of us who try, in our own ways, to bring some integrity and dignity to a profession that is seen, by far too many, as rolling in the mud
I didn't always agree with how she chose to appear but pressure is a constant in this field and the glare of the media spotlight only revs that pressure up 10-100 fold
