I haven’t seen the documentary on Michael Jackson but I have some opinions about it, and him, nonetheless

I have always loved MJ as a musician and performer; my God, he was amazing !!!!

However, I have also always believed he was guilty of child molestation; this goes back years and years

And nothing he has done as a performer negates the damage done, nor the responsibility he holds

For inflicting this damage; same with the Catholic Church

I believe he should have been jailed when he was first brought to trial

I still think, as a singer and performer, that he was amazing

I was in LA when he died and saw all the flowers on his Hollywood Star and understand his magic onstage
But being magical onstage or rich and powerful

Doesn’t warrant a pass on this

Nor does his childhood, which, without doubt, had to be #complicated

It is time we protect children
​
And hold the rich powerful and famous to account
