it seems to me that all Religions ultimately are trying to share a message that we're connected to something "greater" and to not "be afraid"
but too often it becomes a power trip in which those who seek to share this message instead use it to control the very people who need it most -- the ones who ARE afraid
most Religions say this: be kind to others + be kind to yourself
respect the creation of this magical world because whoever "created it" did something pretty miraculous
. . . but that gets lost somewhere
good, I think, to find it and remember it
