and keep going to see if they match "more pieces"
as a result, many times (again, for me) I will think "ok, maybe this one works", only to sit with it for awhile and go "no, I am not sure; I don't think so"
I am not "psychic enough" to have the names and social security numbers just pop in my head; I watch "my movies"
and the movies are not usually "sub-titled"
I wasn't Napoleon or Joan of Arc, so my possible candidates are a little more "obscure"
yet so far, they all seem to share the "just barely left a minor trace in history (due to standing next to somebody famous); enough that if you keep looking you may find me" thang . . . so I keep on looking !!
I only have the imagery or the emotion or sometimes a "resonance" for a particular time and place (typically, a by-product of "watching the movie")
so -- it is safe to say I spend a LOT of time chasing false leads down many a fruitless rabbit hole
but in order to find a rabbit, you still have to look in the hole, anyway
could I be "more productive" doing other things? maybe :)
but I want to map the territory and, for me, this is the only way I know
