sometimes we may struggle with "recognition" -- I do all this, nobody cares, no one pays attention, I don't make any money, etc etc
my "theory" is that if you stay the course, keep doing your work and care about what you do and how you do it, as an artist of any kind (and I count myself as being in this group) you will (ultimately) find your way; if fame comes, great
if not, you must have gotten something positive out of devoting yourself to a craft that you hung in there with, even if it sometimes may have seemed pointless
artists march to their own beat; we can't help it
but that beat is unique and magical and you just have to dance to your tune and if it is "a hit" fantastic, if not, you did something you loved, nonetheless
