I've heard many people say they are afraid to talk to me because so many times they see that I #accurately predict things like fires or earthquakes that they don't want to happen
I didn't make the fires in California happen; just as I didn't cause the housing crash back in 2007 or earthquake swarms in 2010 (although, incredibly, I was blamed for both by, literally, dozens of people telling me if I didn't talk about them and/or think about them, perhaps they wouldn't have happened . . . ohhhhhh kaaaay)
as to these terrible fires, I've said for the past 4-5 years that fires in California would be bigger, costlier, and MUCH more dangerous than anything in recent memory
I said this to give a heads up to people
what they did with this information is up to them . . . and some may say "I live in California, knowing this doesn't help me"
but being #prepared on the off chance that these fires might intensify gives you the opportunity to take steps -- insurance, protecting your valuables, not choosing property in areas more susceptible to fires spreading quickly, having a generator, etc etc etc . . . to lessen the impact if a fire should happen in your neighborhood
same for floods . . . long ago, say 10 years ago, I used to naively believe that accurately predicting things that happen
would "do something for me", in the sense of helping my street cred as a professional psychic
and, of course, on some level it most assuredly has done just that
but I grew very disenchanted with "predicting things" and for several years I was on strike and wouldn't make any public predictions
"seeing things that might happen"
is not a boogie man thing to avoid . . . it is an opportunity to explore what's possible
being forewarned about "trends" gives you the opportunity to position yourself in the most effective ways to mitigate the negative impact(s) of things that may be coming your way
as well as align yourself with opportunities to create the best future possible
#seeing things is not "causing them"
seeing the iceberg didn't sink the Titanic
not seeing the iceberg in time was their "issue"
a concept worth remembering
