In a time of spiritual bankruptcy (like today, for example), it is critical to remember we are spiritual creatures first
our connection to ourselves is out of whack and so, as a result, is everything else
drug addiction off the chain -- not just with rebellious 18 year olds but suburbanites with 3 kids; how many heroin OD's at the PTA meeting do we need to see before we start looking at the pharmaceutical companies and medical establishment who helped create this mess
and try to do "something" besides blame the addicts ??
and look for a "substitute pill" :(
ethics a thing of the past, basic "common courtesy" not all that common, anymore :(
and a presidential election such a shit show of madness that I am embarrassed the internet exists and people in other countries can see us
and the list goes on and on from there -- driven by short term thinking grounded in long-term thievery driving a magnificent culture with magical people
