I would much prefer to not "have to" talk about politics nor spend so much energy talking about marginal things like QaCON or things of a similar nature
it serves little, or no, value for me personally
to engage in these conversations; in fact, just the opposite -- there is actually a significant financial and emotional cost
but we live in a time in which these topics are neon bright in everyone's world
and in my personal corner of the universe, the "truth" or falsehood of claims pushed by QaCON adherents
has a direct impact on many of the people within my circle
as well as the greater populace, at large
the QaCON "initiates", due to my "platform" and fame within the Psychic World community, have tried to, first, recruit me and when that failed, attack me
for not going along with "the great awakening"
I believe their ideas are more than just erroneous; in Psychic World many of us, me included, engage in speculative pursuits attempting to "explain" occult (occult simply means "hidden") matters
but this is different
as this is not a pursuit of truth but, rather, a literal sales job of lies, consciously created to push a political "agenda"
and many people, seeking some nugget of truth about (and in) an uncertain world, have turned in this direction
and are now being used as tools
by a small group (behind the scenes / #irony) who wish to gain power by any means
QaCON is dangerous
because many of those championing this cause
have suspended their intellect in favor of "a feeling"
and as others "share this feeling", it emboldens them to believe their feelings are valid
as they find others who are "validating them"
do your homework and really look at the totality of what QaCON is selling
use your mind
examine what they say
use their own, professed, tactics to see if, perhaps, they are hiding something, too
trust your intellect and don't let others bully or gaslight you
it's important that you do so, not simply for your own good but also for the future of our political system and the ones who will follow
and live in whatever world we, now, are "creating"
