one of my pet peeves in "Psychic World" are pseudo-spiritual "teachers" talking about gender roles . . . I don't think there is any absolute "boy/girl" way in which we have to act (and react)
so, seeing some one (a male) writing "the feminine yearns for submission", is annoying and offensive TO ME -- so I can only imagine what this must be to women
People saying things like this are wolves in sheep's clothing -- I see "their game" and have tuned them out as sexist straight from jump
and stopped reading any further -- as it will only get more pompous and more sexist with each successive paragraph
. . . to me, men saying anything like this are kind of ridiculous
and their language is implicitly condescending to women
and reinforces stereotypes of "male dominance"
which should be quickly and absolutely discarded
another mind fuck (against women)
