I make it a point to always find someway of expressing something positive about people I meet sometime throughout my day -- every day
you have to be creative sometimes and a little bold but coming from a place of genuine compassion and sharing usually "works"
people like to be complimented when there is no agenda or sales job behind it; it only takes a minute or two but it lights things up
and when you get in this "rhythm" you will also find people being friendlier (as a general matter of course) to you, since you have a "friendly energy"
