Most relationships fail for one simple reason: what you want isn't on the menu
and your partner, no matter how big your sign, still perhaps feels as if you will serve a side salad when it is pretty clear you've only got cheeseburgers and chocolate shakes
if you show up, and are happy with what's there (because you KNOW what's there) . . . then things work
but if you sit down and think, even though it says STEAK HOUSE plain as day on the front door
that you'll be ordering Sushi
well then you're gonna be disappointed
