Democrats and White House are at a tragic impasse on coronavirus stimulus

three weeks ago, unemployment claims, after 20 consecutive weeks of being over a million new claims EVERY WEEK

finally came in under a million at 971,000; however, it has been back up over a million, again, for the past two weeks, making 22 out of 23 weeks in a row

I said months back not to expect the $600 additional stimulus for unemployment benefits to continue -- my logic: the Republicans had stolen enough for awhile and now would be "fiscally responsible" . . . the good news is I think issues with Covid 19 are getting better and will continue to get better

but economic issues?

I think they're going to get worse

no matter what it says "in the stock market", there are real challenges facing millions of people and this has to, imo, cause some very significant problems in the days and weeks to come
