After the 1929 stock market crash and the early years of the "Great Depression" (which, by the way, paved the way for Hitler to gain power in Germany in 1933 -- no American Depression, no Hitler) . . . Franklin D Roosevelt was elected President in 1932 and created a sweeping set of legislation collectively called "The New Deal"
This legislation initiated, among other things, banking reforms designed to protect consumers, like Glass-Steagall (to keep commercial banks and "investment banks" separate) and Social Security . . . in today's terms, this is a Socialist / Commie takeover by the "Deep State" . . . when, in "reality", it was a series of safeguards put in place to keep runaway, unregulated "capitalists" from doing what is happening, live and 3D, #today
we see poor people from rural areas and former factory workers whose factory jobs have vanished, replaced by a high tech world in which they have zero skills to compete . . . their skills about as current and useless as being chimney sweeps in 1995
yet, due to some slick packaging by the very people who stand most to gain from seeing these safeguards overturned -- corporations and billionaires
these people are totally on board with destroying safeguards designed to protect them
when the only ones who benefit from this "freedom" will, quite obviously to anyone not brainwashed to "ignore this fact"
turn around and use it, ultimately, to fuck those who support(ed) their path to power . . . again, take a REAL look at Germany between 1918 and 1945
it's fascinating that people who distrust banks fall for an "alternative currency" like bitcoin, for example
that is just made to fuck them
because they distrust government regulations
put in place to keep them from being cheated
but they want to get rid of those safeguards
so they can "be free"
it is all a con game and the klansmen and neo-nazis supporting this
only do so because they are too inept to actually #compete
so they want to find someone to blame for why it's not "working for them"
