when you're not trying to make things happen
in English -- the tension associated with trying to force your way into a place is often overridden by the opposing force ignited by the "resistance"
we have been "sold" over the past few years the "Law of Attraction" and like most ideas that become popular, it is grounded in a half pound of truth (for believability) rolled up in two pounds of distortion (the better to manipulate the masses)
because it is not attraction that makes the "spell" happen
it is alignment
. . . for example, you want to attract a boy friend and so do your love spells and write his name in your notebook with a giant pink pen
and think and think and think
waiting for him to "come"
but unless you are in "agreement" with an energy that matches your potential Romeo nothing will happen
witch or no witch
it is the "transformation" of the one making the wish that makes the wish "come true"
and that transformation is grounded in moving towards the thing "desired"
the Sun doesn't circle the Earth, it is versa meets vice
and so the thing you want, like the rotations of the planets, is something that defines the movement of going from "where you are"
to where you "want to be"
I have said this 10,000 times (at least): you don't make things happen, you align with the energy in which the thing can happen
and so . . . getting back to witches and spells and "intention"
it is through knowing what you wish to "change" and holding that vision, clearly and consistently, within
that allows for the movement of the "wisher" towards the thing "wished for"
you don't draw it to you -- you "clear the roadblocks" and keep going
and by "being awake" to where you want to go, you are more open to the clues from the universe giving hints about the terrain and, as a result, learn the quicker, better paths to get "there"
because by catching on to where the blocks are, you "uncover" the optimal path on which to walk
this is what a witch / magician / transformer . . . "does"
if you want something, in hopes of bringing it "to you" -- you don't change it
. . . it changes you
and to "get there" you have to be willing to walk that walk and be "ok" with what changes may come
Alignment -- not attraction
the change is always within
