From 2006 through 2010, I felt it was more "helpful" -- and more realistic -- to look, primarily, at those things that were broken -- or breaking -- since, at that time, the pervasive long-standing mind-set was one of continuous prosperity and things always getting bigger and better.
Until people "saw" this change, (one that to most was TOTALLY unexpected), was truly happening, they could not make the shifts necessary to protect themselves nor would they be as likely to show compassion to the millions who were sure to suffer, through really no fault of their own.
In other words, I was attempting to shake the pervasive thought paradigm within the United States as I felt it was not adequate to allow individuals to truly "see" what was coming down.
You could say I was "awake" in a sea of sleep-walkers.
It is different now. The realization of what I was talking about years back is not only pervasive in the world, in some sense it is a crippling thought-form that is stopping individuals from growing and expanding.
My "job", my "mission", is to help people find their true inner core so that they might fully step in to a full integration of their spiritual, emotional, and physical potential. To do that, now I feel I must stay in a happy space and continue to find, and point towards, paths that lead to more prosperity and balance.
That is what I intend to do. Things CAN get better now but, for that to happen, there has to first be a recognition that it can :)
