for a film about another beautiful young man who in spite of his brilliance was tormented for "being different"
one of the beauties of Hollywood and movies and "movie people"
is that they really are "different"
in the best way possible (most of the time)
there is a magic to films and a magic to working on a film that is hard to describe -- even in my very limited time there, I have worked on a dozen films and a multi-million dollar TV infomercial
and have set in control booths and been "on camera" and watched the wheels "turn"
and in addition to my work as an actor -- as a psychic, I have talked to hundreds more professional actors, directors, and film makers
making films is an act of magic but it is a collaborative act -- no one on a TV or film set can deny the necessity of having so many creative people come together
many artists gravitate towards their ART without benefit of a perfect "upbringing"; no legacy from which to draw
no scholarship to Julliard no one telling them they can "do this"
and most artists who "pursue" their ART do so with the very real message thrust in their face "who are you ?? what makes YOU think you can do THIS ??"
also, people who march to their own beat -- whether they look different than "the norm" or maybe they like boys when they "should" like girls or versa vice
or they play music instead of basketball or connect with, what to others, may seem "unusual" -- like past lives and astrology !!!
to all the OTHER weird folks who have contemplated (as I most certainly have) ending their lives, remember, please
good things can happen and there are many of us here who will GET YOU
and get what you're going through
thank you, Graham, for giving voice to all of us "weird ones" -- we know our tribe and we salute you for being one of us
