Cartoons for people dealing with Depression (as the colors somehow soothed them) and coloring for those dealing with intense, short-term stress (same reason, but the motor activity helped "spread out" some of the physical tension stored within the body)
I made these suggestions then (and still do sometimes) because I felt they were simple, cost-effective means of dealing with anxiety
they work . . . I find it interesting (but not surprising) that in a time in which so many people are "anxious" that "adult coloring"
would be a "craze"
